Carbon dioxide (CO2)
BeviClean, a valued Analox partner and trusted supplier of CO2 safety solutions in the beverage and hospitality industry, was approached by one of their customers operating as a high-altitude location. The customer had concerns that CO2 readings could be impacted by decreased air density at elevation which could potentially lead to inaccurate or misleading alarm triggers. Understanding the importance of precision when it comes to CO2 monitoring, especially in environments where safety and compliance are critical, Max from Beviclean reached out to Analox for support.
Our Ax60+ is typically BeviClean’s go-to solution, however this system, as well as many others, often require manual reconfiguration to account for altitude which can be both complex and time consuming for the end user. BeviClean worked hand-in-hand with the Analox team to find a better, smarter solution.
The relationship between Analox and BeviClean has always been rooted in open communication and a shared commitment to customer safety. Upon receiving feedback, the Analox team got to work investigating how atmospheric pressure affects CO2 sensor readings and explored options to simplify adjustments for users in high-altitude environments.
The solution was to update our existing Ax60+ system, giving it the capability for users to set their altitude range during setup with no technical reprogramming required. This update ensures the system compensated for air density changes whilst maintaining accuracy regardless of elevation. In addition, this update was the most cost effective method, meaning our sensors did not have to increase in price.
BeviClean’s customer can now benefit from a reliable, altitude-adjusted CO2 monitoring system. Most importantly, this collaboration reflects the strength of Analox and BeviClean’s relationship: responsive, innovative and always putting the end user first.
