Setting the Stage for Development

Establishing a Firm Foundation

Before diving into the development, it was essential to ensure we had a firm foundation to begin with. In this early phase of the Dancing with Daffodils project, we focused on two critical areas; understanding our customer’s requirements and assembling a cross functional project team which would bring this vision to life.

Understanding Customer Requirements

Our early discussions with the customer were crucial in ensuring we fully understood their needs, constraints and performance expectations before progressing with the Daffodil project. This phase was structured to establish a clear and shared vision from the outset to ensure alignment across all stakeholders and minimise any potential risks.

Assembling the Project Team

With a clear direction in place, we turned our focus to building the right team to deliver this vision. Key roles including project management and engineering leads were all carefully selected based on the technical expertise required for the project’s scope.

Involving Graduate Engineers

This was also a perfect opportunity to involve our graduate engineers, to foster learning opportunities and fresh perspectives. Our graduates have brought a strong sense of initiative and enthusiasm, giving the whole project team a positive outlook on the task at hand.
