An eight strong team of Analox people visited the Cleveland Way on 25th October, to help maintain this impressive 109 mile trail.

Every year, each team member at Analox are given one day to spend with a local charity, helping to payback acts of kindness in the local community.

Lewis Gorford, Senior Electronics Engineer, suggested assisting the North Yorkshire Moors National Park Authority in maintaining the Cleveland Way as one such charity.

As the second National Trail in England, the Cleveland Way was officially opened in 1969 covering 109 miles of coastline and moorland.

The Analox team worked on replacing a broken gate and sign, maintaining the walkways and cleaning wildlife areas too.

Lewis said ‘It was a great day, very physical but we felt a good sense of achievement in the work that we carried out. Thankfully the weather was good which really helped the day too.’
