Showing our Support for Mental Health Awareness Week!

Date of publication: 10.05.2021

Today, our pace of life seems relentless and the pressures of daily living can weigh heavily on our minds, finding solace in the embrace of nature has become more important than ever.

As we kickstart a new week, we’re reminded that it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and this year’s theme couldn’t be more fitting: Nature. This theme resonates deeply with us at Analox, as we’re situated in two remarkable locations – Stokesley in the North East of England and the serene Huntington Beach in California. The beauty of our surroundings inspires us to prioritize the well-being of our team members and encourages us all to embark on a journey of healing through nature.

We’re excited to share with you snapshots of how our team at Analox embraced nature during this Mental Health Awareness Week. From hikes along scenic trails to moments by the sea, these photos highlight our dedication to prioritizing mental well-being through nature.

Connecting with Nature for Mental Wellness

Nature’s therapeutic power is profound. Even a brief encounter with the natural world can alleviate feelings of isolation and offer a shield against the pressures that can negatively impact our mental health. At Analox, we understand this truth, and that’s why we go the extra mile to encourage our employees to step outside and explore the natural beauty around them.

Rejuvenating Scenic Walks

Both our UK and US offices are strategically positioned to offer rejuvenating natural walks that provide an opportunity to clear the mind and indulge in some much-needed downtime. The North York Moors National Park, a stone’s throw away from our UK office, offers breath taking landscapes that serve as a canvas for relaxation and reflection. Our team members, like Mark Hemingway, have taken full advantage of this beauty, as demonstrated by his invigorating trek on the moors with his loyal companion Rocky.

Outdoor Connections in a Post-COVID World

As the grip of COVID-19 gradually loosens, Analox actively encourages its staff to reconnect with their colleagues outdoors. Whether it’s a simple social catch-up or a productive outdoor meeting, the synergy of nature’s embrace and human interaction fosters a sense of unity and renewal.
